Solid course, minor shipping hiccup

Overall, I was pleased with the Groomer Specific First Aid Course. The content was relevant to my work, and the online platform was easy to navigate. The instructors were responsive to questions. My Canine First Aid Kit arrived a day later than expected, which wasn't a huge deal, but something to note. It's a comprehensive kit, though. Good value for money, I would say.

Good value for an important skill

I was looking for an online course that wouldn't break the bank and found their Online Dog First Aid Course. I used a newsletter signup offer, which took a little bit off the price, making it feel like a smart purchase. The content was comprehensive, and I really feel like I got good value for what I paid. It's an important skill to have as a pet owner, and this made it accessible.

So happy with my course!

I just finished the Emergency Canine First Aid Course and it was amazing! The instructors were so knowledgeable, and I learned so much. My dog is my world, and now I feel prepared for anything. I'm telling all my friends who have dogs, and I'll definitely be back for the Advanced course!

Training was useful

I took the Professional Dog Walker First Aid Training. The course was clear and to the point. Learned practical skills. Certification is a good bonus. No issues.

Consistent quality, as always

This was my third course with Dog First Aid, and they're always reliable. I previously did the Emergency Canine First Aid and the Puppy Workshop. This time, I took the Advanced Canine First Aid. The instruction remains top-notch, and the materials are always clear. It's why I keep coming back; I know what to expect, and they deliver every time. Happy with my certificate.

Learned a lot, easy to use

I signed up for the Online Dog First Aid Course a few weeks ago. It was pretty easy to get through the modules, and I learned a bunch of stuff I didn't know about helping my dog if something happens. Everything worked fine, no tech issues or anything. It felt good to get the certificate at the end. Happy with it.

If I book a course for my whole grooming team, is there usually a group discount?

K Kevin A. 1 week ago
Definitely. I know a few groomers who got a good deal for booking multiple spots. Contact them directly for that.

Yeah, they do group rates. It's one of their main discounts for businesses.

Thinking of doing one of the in-person workshops, but I have a super reactive dog. Do I need to bring my own dog to class?

S Sean J. 2 weeks ago
Nah, you don't bring your own dog. They usually use mannequins or sometimes a calm demo dog for some things. My class didn't have any participant dogs.

No dogs needed! They provide all the practice stuff.

Looking at the Advanced Canine First Aid course. How long does the certification last before I'd need to renew?

D Danielle Martin 3 weeks ago
It's generally recommended to refresh every 3 years. That's what mine says anyway.

N Nancy Moore 3 weeks ago
I think it's three years, same as human first aid. Good to keep it current.

Anyone done their kits? Are they actually good quality or just basic stuff I could buy anywhere?

A Amanda Mitchell 1 day ago
I got one with my course, it's pretty decent. Has good bandages, saline, tick tool. Better than just throwing random stuff in a bag yourself.

The kit is solid, especially for the price with a course bundle. The cohesive bandages are actually really useful.

What's the difference between the online and in-person courses? Is one way better to learn?

D Daniel Taylor 4 days ago
The in-person is way more hands-on obviously, you get to practice on the mannequins. Online is good for theory and convenience though.

Online is flexible but nothing beats practicing those bandages in person. Depends how you learn best, I guess.
